Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have a problem viewing something on the page?

Our site takes advantage of a number of modern technologies to allow it to function quickly and to provide a quality user experience across a wide range of devices from desktop computer to mobile phones.

If you are using very old technology (Windows XP, Internet Explorer less than Version 8) you are likely to experience a number of issues. Many of these issues have security implications. Please utilize at least a modern, secure, web browser (Chrome or Firefox are both free).

If you are on a modern system and are unable to operate the site correctly, please contact us and we'll try to address the issue.

I am having trouble activating my account!

All new accounts are sent a verification e-mail to the address used when registering. It is not uncommon for these types of e-mails to land in your "Junk" or "Spam" folders. You should check there first. If available, add "info@crossingovertohomeschoooling.com" to your trusted or allowed sendor's list. If you still do not receive your verification e-mail, use the "Contact Us" to send a message and we will manually activate the account within 24 hours.

For those who are trying to register with an AOL email address: AOL regularly considers these types of e-mails to be spam and will block messages from ever being sent to you. WE HIGHLY recommend using a different e-mail address for your account.

How can I submit a support group?

To submit a support group, simply click on the " Submit A Group" icon the support group page. You should include the state, county, name, and the URL Link for the group.

How do I add my lesson plan, schedule form, or other shareable content?

At the bottom of the Community Files page click on the "Submit a File" icon. Choose what category the content should be listed under. Include the provide name, the title, a brief description of the content along with the appropriate grade level, and the subject. Click on "Choose file" and navigate to the location of your content on your local computer. Click "Submit File" and a pop up box will show asking you to confirm your submission. Click "OK" to accept the terms for uploading content on our site.

Example:

Uploading a curriculum schedule for Apologia 7th grade science - you can use Apologia for the Provider Name, The name of the science book for the title, science for the subject, and middle school for the grade level.
